This past spring, Hype had the opportunity to partner with Momentum to support a large-scale field marketing initiative for Total Wireless—executing a coast-to-coast staffing program designed to connect with consumers at the neighborhood level.
Together, we launched a multi-market field marketing campaign that spanned over 20 U.S. cities and touched more than 1,000 retail locations. What started as a simple pop-up model quickly evolved into a highly coordinated operation with nearly 200 W2 staff members, real-time support, and a field strategy designed for scale.
So, what did it look like in action?
Every Friday and Saturday, our teams hit the streets—two locations per day, each with a branded footprint including a small kiosk, banner flag, and A-frame signage. Field Managers transported, set up, and oversaw the footprint while distributing giveaways outside of Total Wireless retail locations. Meanwhile, Brand Ambassadors canvassed the area, handing out flyers and driving foot traffic straight to the door.
This wasn’t your average activation—it was a well-oiled, city-by-city effort that relied on logistics, reliability, and hustle. In Q2 alone, the program reached over 450 stores in under 65 days.
A few things made this program shine:
Staffing consistency. The same Field Managers and Brand Ambassadors returned weekend after weekend, giving the brand a familiar and polished presence.
Reliable, local support. All staff were hired from surrounding markets, ensuring prompt arrival and insider knowledge of the neighborhoods.
W2 coverage. With Hype handling payroll and compliance, the client could focus on outcomes—not liability.
Energy, always. “They kept their energy up all day,” the client shared. “All clients were happy and the event went so great.”
This program is a prime example of what happens when strategy meets local execution. At Hype, we don’t just staff events—we build brand-right programs that scale, adapt, and connect. Whether it’s a one-day stunt or a 1000-store rollout, we’re ready to deliver.
