From an experiential marketing perspective, The Sundance Film Festival offers brands the opportunity to capture an audience of film industry folks along with film fans during a week-long+ film festival. With this year’s sponsors including Dell, Stella Artois, Warner Media, and AT&T to name a few- Hype! was thrilled to partner up with Civic Entertainment Group and Audible for another killer activation!
This Sundance, Audible invited creators to The Audible Speakeasy: where the spoken word is the main ingredient for experimental creative expression. Audible’s mission to “unleash the power of the spoken word” with the world’s largest selection of audiobooks, audio shows and audio subscriptions to magazines and newspapers was brought to life in this super-cool event space.
Hype’s staff included a mix of Brand Ambassadors and Actors who were stationed as greeters throughout the space to distribute drink tokens, hand out download cards and speak about Audible’s services. There were different aspects to the speakeasy including the lounge area, a hidden tiki bar, scenic and interactive content integration, as well as food and cocktail catering. The Audible Speakeasy also incorporated daily programming of 30-minute “sound bath” meditation sessions, as well as talent led panels from the LA Times.
