It’s been over a month of being a part of the Hype team and I’m still working on the Mother’s Cookies Sampling events alongside Raina! We’re beginning to wrap them up now, and it’s been really cool to see how everything has come together. When I first joined, I didn’t fully understand how the events would look in the real world. Now, being apart of the staffing process, I’ve gotten to see a lot of activations go live, it’s satisfying to know I had a hand in that! 

Over the past few weeks, I’ve also learned a lot about interviewing brand ambassadors and how to communicate clearly and efficiently to keep projects moving. Leading a lot of the interviews myself helped me feel more confident and gave me a better understanding of what it takes to find the right people for an event. 

The pace has definitely picked up, but the team has been super supportive—always there to guide us when things get confusing or we need direction. One of my favorite parts about interning at Hype is how approachable everyone is. It can be intimidating to speak up or ask questions as an intern, but the environment here is so positive and encouraging that you never feel uncomfortable doing so.

I can’t wait to see what more is in store for the next month, so grateful to be apart of this amazing team!
