A few weeks back, Hype! partnered with Civic Entertainment Group to help Lifetime kick off its love for the holiday season with a Santa’s Workshop ribbon cutting ceremony! Talent from the Lifetime channel attended the ribbon cutting- surprising and posing for pictures with event attendees. The talent that were in attendance included Keshia Knight Pulliam, Kyla Pratt, Kim Fields, Soleil Moon Frye, Emcee Jaleel White and Musical Guest Tyler Hilton, joined by Patricia Richardson, Patrick Duffy, Beth Broderick, George Stults, and Percy Dags III, and more! Consumers were invited to take photos at 2 different photo opportunities: with Santa, or in front of either the naughty or nice list- depending on how they were feeling. In addition, consumers were able to show their creative sides and take home a piece of the activation by decorating a Lifetime branded ornament.
To help execute a flawless execution, Hype! interviewed, screened and hand selected 22 Brand Ambassadors to bring the holiday spirit to life. The team was broken up into 4 different positions including (6) event staff, (4) street team members, (10) seat fillers, and (2) talent wranglers. All the positions were very different, so each member was interviewed for their specific positions and placed based on previous experience and the positions requirements. Hype!’s Brand Ambassadors were responsible to spread the word about the event, encourage shoppers to meet with the celebrity guests, participate in photo opportunities and social postings, indulge in snacks, and create memories in Santa’s workshop. It was important we found a team that really embraced the holiday spirit and was able to bring it to life with their attitudes and energy onsite as well as being familiar with the Lifetime Channel. All in all, Hype!’s Brand Ambassadors helped spark the Christmas Spirit in Glendale!!
