I cannot believe it’s my second to last week at Hype! This summer went by so fast. I was on vacation for a bit but settled right back into the swing of things this past week. It was a busy week for sure! I helped the team with staffing for the Six Flags sampling program and NFL program. This week gave me some important experiences. I had to call people for backup positions, which was not easy but thankfully there were some people willing to take the job! There were quite a few “no’s” first though. It was also awesome to watch Hype! come together to help the account team staff some tougher markets. Teamwork makes the dream work. We also had a lovely lunch provided by Dayna to celebrate the interns(:!

Overall, I have had such an amazing experience at Hype! I’ve learned how important collaboration, communication, and passion are. Especially communication and collaboration- all of the programs wouldn’t be possible without it! Working on the college ambassador program, sending emails, doing interviews, and working with the account team gave me a chance to see just how important it is. The college ambassador program was a great experience and allowed me to communicate directly with staff and learn more about what goes on regarding communication between the client, BA’s, and Hype! Also working on different larger programs, such as Lollapalooza, allowed me to see what goes on behind the scenes after all the interviews are done. I was able to sit on a training call and see the difference between managing large and small programs.

That’s just a snippet of what I’ve learned this summer! I have loved working with such a kickass group of women who get it done! Hype! has offered me an awesome summer experience and I am grateful to have been introduced to the world of experiential marketing!!!
