From the desk of Addie—

After my first week at Hype, I can say that I am one step closer to becoming an experiential marketing expert! On my first day, I was a bit unsure of what to expect but, I was blown away by the community at Hype! I was immediately welcomed and put at ease. Everyone’s passion and love for their work is inspiring, I am so excited for this summer!

Over the next few weeks, I will be working on the LDA (Legal Drinking Age) College Ambassador program and doing some social media work on the side. I am thrilled to work on the LDA and help prepare for its kickoff at the end of the summer. I was able to shadow phone interviews for BAs, reach out to some by email, and check out the storage unit where the swag is stored! It was a great week to get settled and learn the ropes. Now that I’m confident using the talent dashboard and have some social media templates, I am looking forward to continuing communication with BAs and keeping the program moving! My favorite part of the week was getting to share some of my ideas on a call with Casey and a rep from Boston Beer Company. I really felt included in the project and can’t wait to see everyone’s ideas come to life! Being an intern for Hype has already presented me with unique opportunities, and as I get more comfortable and confident, I am excited to see what more I can learn and take on!
