“Pivot” must have been the word of 2020 when it came to businesses. Everywhere we looked, agencies were pivoting, vendors were pivoting- the digital/virtual space became flooded with businesses that were “pivoting”. And at least once a week someone would ask us how we were pivoting. The answer- we weren’t.
Our “task force” went all-in on what we do best and that is human connection and expert execution. We doubled-down on the people part of our business. We researched federal, state, and local guidelines so as requests (no matter how big or small) came in, our team would be ready to activate. We adopted new safety and sanitization protocols along with implementing health practices on-site to ensure a safe return to experiential events and activations. We ideated for our agency and brand partners so that they could go to the table with some fresh ideas that could actually come to life during a global pandemic.
And we didn’t stop there. Alongside some of our favorite experiential producers and agencies, we executed one of the biggest event weekends in Hype history with over 400 staff in almost 90 locations across the country. We spread a little joy and kindness during the holiday season through our Brand Ambassadors who kept a smile on even while wearing a mask. And we came into the new year ready to do what we do best- strategize, staff, and execute.
