Verizon Super Bowl 53 Brand Ambassadors

Program Overview

Verizon had two goals for the 2019 Super Bowl. Not only to continue to enroll Verizon customers in the Verizon UP rewards program and to provide those patrons with incredible experiences but also to introduce the world to the launch of Verizon’s 5G Internet services. At the 2019 Super Bowl, we partnered with Verizon to activate at Super Bowl Live, Super Bowl Experience, The Atlanta Airport, The NFL House, and The Mercedes Benz Stadium as well as hosting an exclusive business-to-business activation.

Brand Ambassador Responsibilities

  • Providing access to an elevated viewing platform of the Super Bowl Live stage where there were complimentary food and drink.
  • Giving away almost 100 pairs of tickets to the Super Bowl Experience.
  • Expedited entry for all Up Members at the Super Bowl Live venue.
  • Giving away 20 Pairs of Super Bowl 53 tickets.
  • Providing access to exclusive NFL player meet and greets and chalk talks.

At the Main Structure at Super Bowl Live, Verizon hosted a variety of ground breaking experiences in the “5G Experience Lab.” Those activities included an augmented reality QB challenge assisted by a VR headset, cloud based gaming, an immersive VR experience of the movie “First Man”, and a variety of “instagrammable” moments.

The Result by the Numbers

Hype was tasked with staffing 55 staff in total. We booked 22 of the top Verizon Market Managers as fly in staff from various programs across the US, 25 “local” staff who almost all had Verizon experience and our survey staff who gathered feedback in regards to Verizon and the 5G Experience Lab.
