Target Mother’s Day Event

Program Overview

Our client partnered with Target to bring Mothers and their families a little bit of joy and a little bit of indulgence this Mother’s Day by surprising customers with a hand decorated sugar cookie!  With a high degree of energy and positivity while simultaneously being cognizant of the limitations of sampling, our team promoted Target’s private brand of Favorite Day by passing out prepackaged Mother’s Day cookies as guests exited the store.  With prepackaged goods, individual PPE and a 10% coupon for their next visit, our team was able to safely pass out a tasty treat as well as encourage guests to come back for more. Our team staffed 83 store locations with a total of 172 W2 event staff clocking 250 hours of activation and handing out over 26,000 cookies!

Staffing Overview

Hype hired brand ambassadors that were true brand loyalists for this activation! The ultimate objective onsite was to execute the delivery of cookies and inserts to guests with a high degree of energy and positivity while simultaneously being cognizant of the need for social distancing and peoples’ comfortability in today’s climate.

Lead Brand Ambassador Responsibilities

  • Onsite Target Store Team Lead communication
  • Event status updates
  • Management of onsite Brand Ambassador (on time check in, live, breaks, checkout)
  • Tracking metrics such as: Capturing photos, Guest quotes and event reporting details
  • Managing pace of distribution
  • Distribute cookies and inserts to Guests

Assistant Brand Ambassador Responsibilities

  • Assist in setup/strike/replenishing responsibilities
  • Greet Guests
  • Assist in metrics tracking
  • Distribute cookies and inserts to Guests
