‘Tis the season…for football playoffs!! I suppose it’s also the time of year to look back this past year. With Super Bowl 51 rapidly approaching, I have been reminiscing about the time I spent in “The Golden City” during the days leading up to Super Bowl 50.
One of my favorite moments to date at Hype has been experiencing Super Bowl City last February in San Francisco. I mean how could it not be? The Super Bowl is the mecca of football, and the week and a half leading up to it is the holy grail of experiential marketing. I’ve explored San Francisco a few times previously but my time during Super Bowl 50 was unforgettable. Besides working directly next to our client AND our brand ambassadors day in and day out, being surrounded by hundreds of thousands of fans sporting their favorite team’s jerseys, ESPN filming here and there, interactive demonstrations, free concerts featuring Alicia Keys, One Republic and my personal favorite, The Band Perry, and of course checking out some delicious grub, my time in San Francisco was nothing less than an experiential marketing dream!
