As the end of the year draws near, I wanted to reflect on 2019 and a look forward towards 2020. When we close out a year, it is common to reflect on what we promised ourselves for the current year, and we evaluate our goals and what we accomplished or overcame this year.  There is always a lot of excitement and, at the same time, pressure as we enter a new year: new resolutions, new goals, new milestones, and you grow another year older (and wiser).

I wanted to address a few things in this memo- a look back at 2019 and a look forward towards 2020!!

First, in reflecting on 2019, I am thankful to everyone that has contributed to the success of Hype! Our company is where we are today because of our amazing team, clients and brand ambassador staff! Each day I am thankful to be surrounded by talented, generous, kind, and creative people. This year had its fair share of challenges, but it was all worth it. With each challenge, we learned and continued to grow as a team. We accomplished so much this year as a team, and I look forward to seeing what 2020 has in store for us all!!

For 2020, I see this as a year of complete clarity.

“2020” as in 2020 vision, refers to seeing things more clearly with a new sense of focus. Hype! has always known who they are in the industry and who they serve. We have always been clear in our mission. I see this year as a year for us to tell our story with complete clarity, to continue to build relationships with clients that see our vision and staff that can live it!  I am so excited to see what is in store for us all!

For you all, I encourage you all to say out loud what your goal is for 2020- write it down and revisit it often! Keep it clear and keep your eye on the ball.  What is your focus on? Can you hit that reset button? And what do you want complete clarity on?
