Promoting the release of HBO Max’s Original Series, Peacemaker, coming out on Jan 13th our activation was 3-part, a social moment, a food truck and the main attraction – a look into Peacemaker’s backyard! Participants super hero skills were tested through an obstacle course designed by Peacemaker himself. Armed with Nerf guns, participants were faced with a hostage situation, challenged by friendly fire and tasked to complete the course to see if they had what it takes to become Junior Peacemakers. Consumers were welcomed to enjoy everyone’s favorite finger foods such as hot dogs, garlic zoodles, mac & cheese topped with Cheetos, empanadas and mozzarella sticks.
Hype was tasked with providing a team of both actors and brand ambassadors to make each part of the activation come to life. Our Brand Ambassadors were tasked with overseeing the photo op, line management and explaining the purpose of the food truck. The food truck (staffed by not Hype) was inspired by the Fenel Fields diner in the show offering peace through overindulgence, the American Way. Our actors were part of Peacemakers recruitment team where participants were tested at each part of the obstacle course.
